Our Policies

Weekly Rates: All summer rentals are weekly, Saturday to Friday from Father's Day weekend through the third week of August.

Daily Rates: Are in effect prior to Father's Day weekend and after Labor Day with a two day minimum. Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Weekends and November Deer Season are 3 day minimums.

Deposits: $250 per cottage weekly rental deposit, deposits for dailey rentals are one night's rental rate, due within 1 week of reservation of confirmation.

Check-In / Check-Out Times: Weekly rentals are check in Saturday afternoon at 2:00 pm/ check out followining Friday at 11:00 am
Daily rentals are check in @3 , check out by 10

Cancellation Policy: Summer reservations require 6 months notice for cancellation & refund unless we are able to fill the vacancy with another rental. However every effort will be made by management to accommodate rescheduling in the event of an unforeseen emergency, based on availability, and with out penalty to the guest.

Security Deposit: The reservation deposit is held for a security deposit during your rental and is not returned until after the unit is checked over during the cleaning process by housekeeping, after your stay. So upon check in, full payment is due for the entire rental amount. Management reserves the right to levy additional charges for any damage to the unit, the grounds, furnishings, linens, and/or equipment provided by the resort. There will also be additional cleaning charges subtracted from your deposit if you fail to wash your dishes, pick up after your stay, and dispose of your trash in the dumpsters provided. After your departure, your deposit will be returned by mail after housekeeping cleans and checks over the cabin.

Payment: We accept cash, personal checks and money orders. There will be a $50 charge for any checks returned for insufficient funds.

Supplies: All cottages have 1 shower bath unless otherwise stated, and a fully equipped kitchen. We supply once per week, linens, towels, and the first day’s paper products and soap. Guests will need to bring additional paper products, trash bags, soap, beach towels, and all food and beverages. Each cottage has a charcoal grill and picnic table. All units have heat and TV reception. Communal gas grills are available to all.

Occupancy Policy: The maximum occupancy per cabin is dictated by the septic system capacity and for the health and safety of all, it has been recently revised. Please review the following information carefully as it applies to all occupants two years of age and older.
#1 Loon – 3 bedroom, max 6 people.
#2 Bears Den – 2.5 bedroom, 6 people.
#3 Nature Nook – 3 bedroom 4 beds, 8 people.
#4 Alpine Chalet – 2.5 bedroom, 6 people.
#5 Golfers Retreat – 2 bedroom 8 people.
#7 Timber Town – 1 bedroom, 4 people.
#8 Safe Harbor – 2 bedroom, 6 people.
#10 Northern Waters – 2 bedroom, 6 people.
With advance written approval by management, it may be possible to extend beyond these numbers, depending on the cabin. If allowed, an additional charge of $25 per night, $100 per week, per person will apply.

Frequent Day Visitor’s Fee: Friends or Family guests over 12 years of age not staying the night at The Resort are allowed to visit as a “day visitor” with a registered guest in attendance. A maximum of 2 day visitors per cabin are allowed once during your stay without advance approval from Management and with out any fee. However if a guest wants to be a “frequent” visitor during your stay, or there will be more than two visitors on any day, they are required to have advance approval to visit by Management and pay a day visitor pass fee of $10 per day or $50 per week, per person. If a guest returns for a second visit during a week, they are considered to be a “frequent day visitor ” and are subject to the Day Visitor Fee. All day visitors are subject to the same rules and policies of The Resort as paying guests and agree in advance to immediate dismissal from the property at Management’s sole discretion for any reason deemed necessary. The same occupancy rules apply above per cabin including day visitors and may cause Management to refuse admission to The Resort of any additional visitors depending on overall numbers. Day visitors are required to leave the property by 10:00 pm. Please share this information with any of your day visitors.

Guests Bringing Boats: Please read our boat guidelines

Smoking: All cabins are non-smoking.

Pets: Smaller breeds of dogs may be allowed in Spring and Fall for an additional fee given certain restrictions with advance approval by owner. No pets are allowed during prime summer weeks.
